About the Commission

The 5 members of the State Ethics Commission are private citizens who meet approximately 6 times a year to consider policy, advice and enforcement matters. The Chair of the Commission is elected annually by the members.

Commission Meetings

Meetings start at 9:00 a.m. and are held at the Commission’s office located at 45 Calvert Street, 3rd Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. The Commission will publish a public agenda which can be accessed from this page 5-7 days prior to each meeting. Because of the confidential nature of certain matters considered by the Commission, some portions of each meeting will normally be closed to the public.
